Motivational speaker and entrepreneur Seth Godin came to London to launch his latest book and Penguin wanted to do something special for the launch, I built a mobile web app that enabled the users at the book launch to gift a book free of charge to any of their Twitter followers sending them a unique link via the Twitter API that would enable them to redeem their gift. The app created a personalised tweet with a custom image of the book cover with the users twitter username printed on it. The campaign reached over 750,000 people on Twitter over 42% of the audience gifted a book the same night of the event. Seth Godin comented that the app was 'Brave and Fascinating'
